Biography

Bryan Page received degrees from University of Montevallo and Westminster Choir College. His primary teachers have been Edwin Robertson, Ron Hemmel, Joel Phillips and Bryan Clark. His music has been heard in Paris, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles and throughout the southeast.

He has received commissions from The U.S. Army Trumpet Ensemble, the UAB Trumpet Ensemble, Metropolis Ensemble of New York City and ACM in Chicago and the Huntsville Master Chorale. First Light for trumpet ensemble is published by Triplo Press and was premiered at the 2012 International Trumpet Guild conference in Columbus, Georgia. Also in 2012, Dusk from his song cycle The Edith Poems was performed at Carnegie Hall by Mischa Bouvier and Yegor Shevtsov. In 2014, his orchestral piece Slow & Fast was performed by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.

He is a founding member of Huntsville Collegium Musicum, an early music vocal ensemble, in which he sings tenor and serves as composer-in-residence. A trumpeter also, Bryan regularly performs with Redstone Brass and the Brass Band of Huntsville.
