The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) College of Business (COB) welcomed a new group of business students to serve in leadership roles as student ambassadors for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

Through the ambassador program, selected business students have the opportunity to practice their leadership and professionalism by representing the COB at current student, community and recruitment events. These outstanding student leaders are knowledgeable about the college, are highly involved on campus, and demonstrate academic excellence. The ambassadors also have the unique opportunity to attend exclusive leadership programs with community business leaders to expand their professional network.

The 2023 - 2024 College of Business ambassadors include:
Anas Alrobiai (Huntsville, AL), Danielle Borden (Helena, AL), Natalie Craney (Huntsville, AL), Greta Downing (Huntsville, AL), Madison Fama (Huntsville, AL), Karson Faulkner (Pulaski, TN), Alexi Florian (Wasilla, AK), Sarah Foltz (Martin, TN), Krista Hamilton (Mobile, AL), Yanjie Horton (Huntsville, AL), Jessika Jones (Athens, AL), Morgan Jones (Birmingham, AL), Victoria Kennedy (Santee, CA), Jennifer Kramer (Huntsville, AL), Asa Mazow (Knoxville, TN), Ian Miller (Russellville, AL), Kaitlyn Moore (Ashland, AL), Daniel Navarro (Caracas, Venezuela), Logan Ollenburger (Joplin, MO), Jacob Padgett (Remlap, AL), Hannah Pringle (Montgomery, AL), Stephen Ross (Decatur, AL), Karlie Sikorski (Crossville, TN), Katelyn Stone (Huntsville, AL), Emi Swinford (Gadsden, AL) and Kaleb Wade (Montgomery, AL).

Current ambassador, Kaleb Wade, was recently elected among his peers to serve as president of the program.

“Serving at each COB event is an opportunity to represent and embrace the values of the college, and assisting at events has never felt like a requisite, but rather, a pleasure,” says Wade. “Becoming an ambassador has also drawn me closer to my student peers, faculty and leaders in the College of Business.”

“We are fortunate to have these outstanding ambassadors representing the College of Business,” says college dean, Dr. Jason Greene. “As individuals, each one brings their unique strengths, interests and perspective to reflect the breadth of programs and people who have found a home and sense of belonging here.”

Greene continues by commenting on how the student leaders have contributed to the culture of the college. “As a group, they create a welcoming culture throughout the college – one of active engagement, professionalism and fun. We are proud to have them as business ambassadors and to share their journey as they launch their careers.”

Current UAH business students interested in applying to the ambassador program can complete the application early in the spring semester. The selection process includes submitting an online application, completing an in-person interview and being selected to serve by a panel of current ambassadors and college staff.
