    An invention discourage was made to the UAH office of commercialization on a new space propulsion device using the electrospinning technique used by Bernabe Tucker at UAB and Gabe Xu's experience with propulsion at UAH. The concept is to use a combustible liquid polymer propellant in either electrospinning or combustion mode for high efficiency or high thrust operation.

    An invention disclosure has been filed with the UAH office of commercialization for a new patent based on the work by Gabe Xu and Ryan Gott at UAH. We've developed an atmospheric pressure plasma sheet source better suited for treatment of large areas. This would be applicable to industrialized process or any non-point surface treatment (food, material, skin, etc).

    An invention disclosure was made to the UAH office of commercialization on atmospheric plasma treatment of plants and seeds to improve growth, germination, and sprouting. The patent involves UAH, AAMU, and OU and is based on collaborative research wherein various plant and seed samples were treated at UAH and studied at OU and AAMU. The disclosure is currently in the process of getting all three universities to agree and sign off on an inter-institutional agreement.
