2024 Open Enrollment- Your Roadmap to Health
Annual Open Enrollment for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts, begins on Thursday, October 12 and ends on October 31, 2023, for all benefit-eligible employees of UAH.
ACTION IS REQUIRED if you want to:
- Participate in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA)
- Participate in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (for childcare expenses- DCFSA)
- Make your own contributions in your Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Make changes to your existing insurance elections for medical, dental, or vision insurance
NO ACTION IS REQUIRED if you do not want to make changes to health, dental, vision, life, or disability coverage. You will keep your current benefits and these coverage(s) will rollover as-is effective January 1, 2024.
Changes outside of Open Enrollment can only be made if there is a qualifying life event.

We are pleased to announce there will be NO RATE INCREASES for the HDHP Health, Dental, Vision, Life, or Disability Insurance Plans! Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance
Voluntary life insurance requires evidence of insurability (EOI) if an employee applies for coverage more than 60 days after becoming eligible. Coverage subject to EOI will be effective upon The Standard's approval.
