Accessing Self-Service Banner (SSB)
Self-Service Banner is entirely web-based and accessible via any of the major browsers. You can connect here.
To sign on, click on the option entitled "Enter Banner Self-Service." You will be promoted for your User ID (this is your Banner ID or "A" Number) and PIN.
Note: The "A" listed in your user id is case sensitive and must be entered in upper case or your log-in will fail.
New Students:
If you do not know your default PIN, please contact the TAG Help Desk. The first time you successfully log in, you will be prompted to change your password. Select and enter a new one that is a minimum of eight alphanumeric characters in length. Additionally, the first time you sign on, you will be prompted to provide five security questions and corresponding answers. This is used in the event that your PIN is forgotten and needs to be reset. Please use a question that only you know and will remember the answer to. Your answer is case sensitive, so keep this in mind when you type in the response.
Returning Students:
Your user id and PIN will remain active.
Staff, Faculty, and Researchers:
If you are new to campus, you will receive your Banner ID in your employee orientation. If you do not know your default PIN, please contact the TAG Help Desk. Forgotten PINs:
If you have forgotten your PIN enter your ID and click the "Forgot PIN" button. This will display your security questions. Provide the answer and you will be prompted to enter a new PIN. If you cannot answer your security questions, you will need to contact TAG (Help Desk) for assistance.
