Campus IDs

All campus community members should have two IDs:

Charger ID (or LDAP UID)

This is your primary campus ID and serves as the base of your official uah.edu email. Typically the format consists of your initials followed by a 4 digit sequence number (e.g., 0001). Your Charger ID is used to sign into ChargerNet, Wireless, ANGEL, and Google Apps.

Can't remember your default Charger ID and/or password?

You Charger ID is the first part of your official UAH email address (characters left of the @ sign). If you have been using an email alias, and you can't remember your actual e-mail address, you can locate your Charger ID by logging in to Banner. Your Charger ID is listed under your Banner ID on the Main Menu. 

Your default password can be retrieved by contacting the TAG Help Desk at 256-824-3333.

You can also use the ITS User Services Portal to reset your password or recover your Charger ID by using your Banner ID/A# and PIN. Find out more about ITS User Services Portal.

Banner ID (or "A" number)

This is used to sign into Self-Service Banner or SSB.

You will be required to reset your PIN upon initial sign-in and at other times, periodically, for security purposes.

Can't remember your default Banner ID/A# and/or PIN?

If you cannot remember your A#, you will need to contact TAG at 256-824-3333 or Charger Central at 256-824-7777.
