Center for Cybersecurity Research and Education

  • Open to: High school students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Date: June 17-21, 2024

This cybersecurity camp provides the opportunity for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing to explore basic cybersecurity topics, including networking, cryptography, digital forensics and ethics. Students will learn about the GenCyber concepts of confidentiality, integrity, availability, defense in depth, think like an adversary, and keep it simple. This one-day competition for middle school teams allows participants to test their cybersecurity knowledge through unplugged and plugged activities. Nursing is a rewarding career that offers exciting opportunities. During this camp, students will explore nursing hands-on in our state-of-the-art Simulations and Learning Innovation (SLIC) Lab. Rocket Booster Summer Bridge Program

The Rocket Booster Bridge program, sponsored by the UAH Enhanced Teaching and Learning Center, aims to increase the quality and quantity of students successfully completing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degrees at UAH. The program is an excellent opportunity for entering students to strengthen their academic skills, develop a peer support network, and familiarize themselves with the campus and its resources.
