When  it comes to building and racing concrete canoes, the concrete canoe team at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (Team UAH) has one of the best track records in the world (UAH statistics).

Next Chapter Meeting: To be announced. We typically meet on Wednesday @ 7:00 p.m. in Tech Hall S105.

We recently competed in the Southeast Conference which was hosted by the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. This was one of the largest and most competitive student competitions in the world where 24 teams competed in 14 different competitions. Our teams placed first in the Geotechnical Competition and third overall in the Concrete Canoe Competition. We won the women's endurance race, placed second in the men's sprint, and third in the men's endurance race.

Team UAH poses following the Awards Banquet in Chattanooga.

Our 2015 concrete canoe theme was "CLOCKWORK."

"For the Record," we have compiled a comprehensive summary spanning the twenty-three year history (1988-present) of the national concrete canoe competitions and we co-sponsor ConcreteCanoe.org, the world's largest data base on concrete canoeing.

Our site includes tips on how to compete at the ASCE/MBT NCCC, and provides links to the concrete canoe websites of many schools including the most recent national qualifiers and past NCCC champions.

So... "C'mon join our team!"
