Before serving as a specialist, Molly was a high school math teacher for Huntsville City Schools, where she taught subjects ranging from Algebra I and AP Statistics to coaching the Math Team. She was named Outstanding Secondary Education Student of the Year at UAB in 2015 and was awarded Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction in 2016. She is also a member of the Alabama Council of Teacher of Mathematics and National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics.
