The UAH Center for Cybersecurity Research and Education (CCRE) was awarded a $3.2M grant sponsored by the National Security Agency. The Virtual Internship and Varied Innovative Demonstrations (VIVID) Coalition comprised of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Augusta University, University of Arizona, and Florida International University has internship opportunities available for college undergraduates. The virtual internships will be offered to address the problem of helping students translate academic learning to cybersecurity practice and competency in a work role or job as well as the opportunity to earn as they learn. Additionally, the VIVID coalition will conduct Cyber Competitions open to Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CAE) designated schools.

2024 Virtual Spring Competition

The Virtual Internship and Varied Innovative Demonstrations (VIVID) Coalition comprised of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Augusta University, University of Arizona, and Florida International University has competition opportunities available for college students to compete in teams of five. Multiple teams from the same College or University are allowed. All 5 team members must be students from the same CAE school.
