LIB111. Rise Raptor Project is a local group that strives to share the love of raptors (birds of prey) and related species through fun, informative events. They promote the ideals of science, conservation, and history. They will be coming to the library (as part of the Saturday @ the Library series) to talk about their work, let people meet some of their awesome birds, and discuss how the UAH Japanese community is helping them to bring a Japanese Eagle to the States. We will provide snacks and there will plenty of time for questions and comments. A special information booth will be set up an hour ahead of time (2pm) outside the front of the library (in case of rain, inside the library lobby) to give you a chance to get to know the people more and to buy t-shirts.
