In preparation, the UAH Math Club is holding bimonthly Putnam practice sessions led by Dr. Boris Kunin, associate professor of the mathematical sciences department. Dr. Kunin will work through problems to help students experience Putnam-style solving. Sessions are open to all students of any major and do not have to be attended consecutively. Participation in the Putnam Competition is also optional and anyone interested in exploring mathematics is welcome to attend.
