NSF REU Information Session Conference/Lecture Friday, October 22, 2021 The event started -1070 days agoMultiday event - 0 days 11:30 AM12:30 PM Morton Hall Room 126 On Friday, October 22, 2021 in Morton Hall 126, Fellowship Advisor Jennifer Staton will talk about th National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) which fund a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students throug the REU Sites program. An REU Site consists of a group of ten or so undergraduates wh work in the research programs of the host institution. Each student is associated with specific research project, where he/she works closely with the faculty and othe researchers. Jennifer will discuss the basic application and eligibility requirements fo NSF REUs, along with advice on how to navigate the NSF REU online database. This info session is ideal fo STEM and Psychology/Social Sciences freshmen and sophomores with little to no previous undergraduate research experience.
