NSF GRFP Information Session Conference/Lecture Friday, January 14, 2022 The event started -986 days agoMultiday event - 0 days 11:30 AM12:30 PM Shelby Center Faculty Resource Center (Next to Room 152) On Friday, January 14, 2022, Fellowship Advisor Jennifer Staton will talk about the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support, including an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution. Jennifer will discuss the basic application and eligibility requirements for the NSF GRFP, along with advice on how to prepare for the application itself. Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply. This info session is ideal for STEM and Psychology/Social Sciences freshmen and sophomores who are interested inpursuing graduate school.
