Understanding SysML Models in Model-Based Engineering (MBE) Conference/Lecture Monday, July 11, 2022- July 12, 2022 The event started -808 days agoMultiday event - 1 days 8:30 AM12:30 PM Wilson Hall Available On-Campus or Live Virtual Learn the essentials of OMG SysML®, a general-purpose modeling language for developing complex systems composed of hardware, software, information, personnel, procedures, and/or facilities. Review key concepts in a tool-independent manner with a focus on how to read and properly interpret SysML models. Understand all nine SysML diagrams and their corresponding model elements. Learn the role of SysML in MBE, including how SysML supports the systems engineering “V- Model”. Discover the benefits and costs of a SysML-based MBE approach and explore methods for deploying SysML. This course is designed for engineers, scientists, managers, and technicians interested in MBE. Prerequisite: Undergraduate degree in a technical field, project management, or equivalent experience. What You Will Learn: MBE context and motivation How to understand upfront concepts (system objectives), structure and behavior concepts, and cross-cutting concepts in a SysML system model Leading-edge applications and deployment considerations For more information, contact PDSolutions@uah.edu or 256.824.4430.
