Cyber Security Camp for Rising 6th-8th Graders Misc Monday, July 18, 2022- July 22, 2022 The event started -801 days agoMultiday event - 4 days 8:30 AM 4:30 PM Engineering Building Cyber-Charged is a day camp program that teaches first principles of cybersecurity in a fun, hands-on environment. Students learn about the building blocks of a computer, programming in python, computer operating systems and software, cybersecurity first principles, cyber-threats, cyber-defenses, network security, firewalls, and virus scanning. The experience expected of campers in cybersecurity and computing is beginning to intermediate. The camp will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM July 18-22. Campers will receive lunch and snacks daily. The cost of this camp is $400 and a limited number of scholarships for up to $300 are available based on demonstrated need. Apply online at uah.edu/eng/summer-camps.
