After successfully completing this BLS Instructor-Led Training course, you should be able to perform high quality CPR and describe the technique for choking relief for an adult, child, or infant, as well as demonstrate the appropriate use of automated external defibrillator (AED) and barrier device skills. You will also be able to describe the importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation. BLS is designed for healthcare in both pre-hospital and in-facility environments. In-facility refers to healthcare providers who work in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare facility including a dentist office, skilled nursing, and assisted-living facilities.
