Craft School Experience Arts & Entertainment Thursday, January 12, 2023- January 26, 2023 The event started -624 days agoMultiday event - 15 days Wilson Hall Gallery Room 160 Artist Dezzy Moon graduated from UAH in 2020 with a BFA in Printmaking and considers herself a “Creative Vagabond.” In addition to traveling for inspiration, mounting exhibitions, and spending a year as the Resident artist at Green Pea Press, she has completed residencies at three well-known Craft schools Arrowmont, Penland, and the John C. Campbell School of crafts. Dezzy is a maker, and the opportunity to learn as many skills and materials as possible is essential to her ongoing growth as an artist. Her exhibition “The Craft School Experience” chronicles this part of her artistic journey. From beautifully crafted brooms to handmade kaleidoscopes to fabric processes, the show displays her work and invites the viewer to get inside the experience. Please join us for a closing reception and artist talk, Thursday, January 26th, from 5pm-6:30pm in the UAH Wilson Hall Gallery. Free and open to the public.
