There will be two different introductory events for the Salmon Library this week. The first is Welcome to YOUR Library, an introductory look at the many resources and services the library has to offer. That will be on Tuesday, September 17, from 2pm to 3pm in LIB111: Want to know more about using the resources available to you at the Salmon Library? To learn more about the many research databases and books? Or about 3D printing? Interlibrary Loan? Study rooms? How about reserving a space for a club meeting? In this talk, Anna Kate Tippett will work with you to help you to get the most from your library on campus. Another event, more specific to the MultiMaker Lab, will be an introduction to 3D Printing: 3D Printing Basics. It is designed to show everyone how they can use 3D Printing in their academic and personal projects. This one will be on Thursday, September 19, from 2pm to 4pm in the MultiMaker lab. Like all the Salmon Library events, these are free and open to all UAH students, faculty, and staff.
