Along with local guest conservationists, we will discuss who has inspired us and what we are doing today to celebrate and preserve the beautiful Tennessee Valley. We will discuss the impact of great conservationists like Aldo Leopold and Carl Sagan. Our goal is to better understand contemporary issues like “smart growth,” to get involved, and to take action. The course includes an optional field trip and service day.
