Learn about the long history of the train depot and railroading in Decatur. See several exhibits and model train layouts. From the outside viewing platform, we’ll hopefully see one of the many working full-scale trains that roll by the depot every day. As a bonus (weather permitting), we’ll also visit the nearby historic downtown area. No charge. Parking is available across from the depot.
