The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development (OVPRED) provides internal oversight on Research Compliance relating to human and animal research performance, conflict of interest, scientific misconduct, and export control. OVPRED's emphasis is to ensure the rights and well-being of human and animal subjects, ensure regulatory compliance, support our investigators and staff, protect the University, and advance science.
