The Nano and Micro Devices Center (NMDC) is a part of the Center for Applied Optics (CAO) located at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. At the heart of the center is a 7,600 sq. ft. cleanroom facility and ancillary labs. These labs are being used to perform research (Atomic Layer Deposition, clean optics assembly, non-contact metrology (SEM, white light interferometry).
