Dive Into All Your Interests with a Minor

Torn between two separate programs? You do not necessarily need to pick one over the other. By choosing to pursue a minor, you can build an interdisciplinary education for yourself. Two is usually better than one, and that is true when it comes to your studies. Students graduating with both a major and a minor have more to put on their resumes when entering the workforce. Plus, a minor gives you the opportunity to fully explore your side interests. Speak with an academic advisor today to learn more about minors at UAH.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

A wide variety of experiential learning opportunities make UAH unique. With internships and Cooperative Education (co-op), you have the opportunity to integrate degree-related, real-world experience with your classroom studies. Students may find themselves in a classroom one day and a workplace the next. This can take your resume to the next level, all while strengthening your networking connections.

If you want to take your learning outside of the classroom, co-ops and internships are for you. Both place you with real-world employers and allow you to learn on the job. Plus, you might even make a little money too.
