She has also served AMSTI as a Science/ Computer Science Specialist. She was a state finalist for the 2016 Presidential Award For Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Ann is ISTE Certified, Google Educator Certified and Common Sense Media Educator Certified. She is a member of the National Science Teaching Association, the Alabama Science Teaching Association, and the Alabama Mathematics Leadership Alliance.
