January 29, 2018 The Office of Student Life is seeking a faculty or staff member to chaperone our 2018 Alternative Spring Break Trip to Washington, DC. Alternative Service Breaks promotes community service, develops leadership skills, and creates strong bonds among its participants. This year’s trip will include service projects with the areas of community building/homelessness, women’s rights, and environment. In partnership with SGA and our Alumni Association, students will also get a civic engagement opportunity with AL representatives and to network with Alumni in our area. Chaperones help ensure the planned trip is executed to the best of their ability. We hope to host between 15-30 students on this trip.
