March 21, 2018 Applications are open for the inaugural McMahon/Pleiad Prize. Honoring Emeritus Trustee John J. McMahon, Jr. and recognizing his family’s contributions to The University of Alabama System and the State of Alabama, the prize of $75,000 will be awarded to a member of the faculty or staff of UA, UAB, UAH, and UAB Medicine to fund a project that advances collaboration among our System institutions.
