December 14, 2020 From Thursday, December 17 through Friday, December 18 at 9:00am until 3:00pm, Facilities & Operations will perform planned testing of the emergency mass notification system at the following locations: Alpha Omicron Pi sorority house Business Administration Building Bevill Center Central Campus Residence Hall Charger Union Charger Village Frank Franz Hall Invention to Innovation Center (I2C) Materials Science Building North Campus Residence Hall Student Services Building SWIRLL University Fitness Center Wilson Hall Outdoor system south of Holmes Avenue During the test, amber lights will illuminate with an announcement of, “This is a test.” Having regular scheduled and documented testing gives us the opportunity to troubleshoot any problems that may occur before a possible emergency situation arises and helps guarantee that the campus community will receive the message and respond to it appropriately, in the event of an actual emergency.
