On Sunday July 17, 2022, UAH Facilities & Operations (F&O) will begin efforts on campus to restripe parking spaces within existing parking lots. To accommodate the work prior to the start of the 2022 Fall Semester, F&O has worked in partnership with UAH Parking Services to coordinate parking lot closures from July 17, 2022, through August 8, 2022.
The following schedule details the parking lots included in the project and the respective dates for the work to be completed. UAH Parking Services will barricade each parking lot one day prior to the scheduled start date of work. UAH Facilities & Operations requests faculty, staff, and students avoid parking in the lots during these respective dates:
- Sunday, July 17, 2022 – Lot K1 (SSB), W21 (UFC), W22 (FSR), W23 (FSR), W24 (SCH), ELC Parking Lot
- Tuesday, July 19, 2022 – IMF Parking Lot, G11 (NCH), G13 (NCH)
- Sunday, July 24, 2022 – Lot G4 (BAB), G5 (WIL), (BEV), G9 (CTC)
- Tuesday, July 26, 2022 – Lot T40 (SKH)
- Wednesday, July 27, 2022 – Lot T41 (SKH)
- Thursday, July 28, 2022 – Lot T42 (OKT)
- Sunday, August 7, 2022 – Lot W31 (BSB), W32 (JRC), W33 (PPB), B50 (CRH), B51 (CRH)
For your reference, attached is a campus map that identifies the parking lot designations. We are excited to have this much-needed improvement completed prior to the students' return in August and appreciate the patience and cooperation of all faculty, staff, and students.
