The Office of Marketing and Communications is transitioning from scheduling individual portrait appointments to offering blocks of time for portrait sessions twice per month on a regular basis. Starting Thursday, May 18, 2023, portrait sessions will be available on the first Tuesday of each month from 9-11 a.m. and on the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Shelbie King Hall, Room 342.
Whether you are a new faculty member or staff member who needs a portrait, or you would like to update your portrait, this is an excellent opportunity to get a high-quality portrait taken by our experienced photographer. To book your portrait session, simply fill out the Faculty/Staff Portrait Request Form and select the date that works best for you. You will receive a confirmation email with your form submissions and then later a reminder email with additional details prior to your scheduled session. If you need to cancel your booking, please email omc@uah.edu.
The efficiencies gained by moving from individual portrait appointments to blocks of time twice monthly will enable the University photographer to be available to campus more often to capture other types of photos for marketing and promotion of UAH. OMC's primary focus is to provide dynamic images for the purpose of advancing the University's brand and raising its visibility.
