Are you a small business? Want to pitch your ideas to the Department of Defense and federal government technology scouts?
From science advisers to field representatives, laboratory personnel to individuals in program & project offices — as well as various other federal stakeholders — the National Security Innovation Summit (NSIS) hosts a space for DoD / Government scouts interested in emerging small businesses just like yours.
Located in Huntsville, AL, NSIS is the premier tech conference to get in front of these DoD / Government scouts, hear top government individuals speak, network with key stakeholders, and so much more.
Invited technology “scouts” include science advisors, field representatives, individuals in program and project offices, and laboratory personnel from a number of organizations. These include:
- The Department of Defense (DoD) combatant commands (CCMDs);
- DoD labs and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs);
- The Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF);
- The Army Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO);
- The Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx);
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA);
- The Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO).
Additionally, the 2018 NSIS has expanded invitations to other federal stakeholders who possess a compelling interest in emerging technologies, including the Department of Homeland Security and its sub-organizations, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It is currently anticipated that more than two dozen tech scouts will participate in the 2018 NSIS.
