Offered through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UAH
While science has enabled us to improve our understanding of the physical reality around us, we continue to behave and live according to our beliefs, assumptions, and understandings. Our perception of the world, therefore, is a projection of living with our misplaced beliefs, assumptions, and understandings. Our mutual distrust results in the breakdown of relationships, conflicts, intolerance, strife, terrorism, and wars. This course will propose human values for consciousness development by offering a holistic perception and an alternate understanding of reality and inherent harmony in existence to mold our thoughts, behavior, and actions.
