The American West had its share of famous families of colorful characters and lawless individuals. This class will study four sets of notorious brothers that chose to live their daring lives outside the law in the economic and political desperate times after the War Between the States. These fraternal desperados are the infamous Burrow, Dalton, James, and Young brothers. This course is provided by the University of Alabama as part of the OLLI Alabama Shares program.
