1:15 PM 2:45 PM

Wilson Hall

Offered through Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Explore one of the more forgotten conflicts of the 20th century. The Korean War started in June 1950 and temporarily stopped with an armistice in July 1953, which still holds today. Examine the strategic and tactical aspects of the war with special emphasis on the conflict’s first twenty months, which were full of maneuver. Maps and discussions will demonstrate how the combat lines flexed back and forth during the latter parts of the war.
