OLLI at UAH Course - A (Not-So) Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra

Take a deep dive into the history and development of the orchestra from its roots in the late Renaissance. Journey along a familiarization tour of its component instruments and answer questions such as "What is the difference between a French horn and an English horn?" or "What's a contrabassoon for?" or "What's this transposition stuff all about?"
