Mental Health First Aid Training teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health and or substance use challenges in adults, how to provide initial help, and guide a person toward appropriate care. On October 5th and 6th, MHFA Training will be offered in SSB Room 201 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM each day. Participants must attend both days to receive a certificate. This workshop is free as part of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and will be conducted by Caitlin Johnson from Wellstone Behavioral Health. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
