This new event, ChatCRP, will kick-off with networking, cocktails, and appetizers – then at 5 p.m., we will hear from our two speakers:

Dr. Jerome Baudry, UAH College of Science
The AI Revolution in Life Sciences: From Interacting Molecules to Public Health Modeling
Two funded projects will illustrate how AI is changing the way we do research at the two extremes of the life sciences scale: from drug discovery and atoms interacting with each other, to modeling of regional public health issues related to autism and access to care.

Dr. David Gaddes, CFD Research Corporation
Harmony AI: State-of-the-Art Natural Language Processing for Genetic Engineering
Contemporary healthcare uses genomic tools such as synthetic plasmids or mRNA to synthesize proteins for therapeutics or vaccines. Designing genes for plasmids or mRNA vaccines requires optimally configuring the nucleic acid sequence to achieve the intended results.
