Our speaker will be Mr. Tom Branson, Aerospace Engineer at the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), Army Aviation and Missile Research Development Center. His presentation is entitled "Introduction to Gas Turbine Engine Performance." Tom is an engineer with 9 years of experience performing gas turbine engine performance work in the Propulsion Division of AED. He graduated with his BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 and his Masters of Science in Engineering (Aerospace) in 2014, both from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His experience includes a 2011 civilian deployment to Afghanistan as a Liaison Engineer in support of Army Aviation maintenance activities.
