UAH Constellation Concert Series presents Songs of Love, Sorrow, Hope, & Healing, a Black History Month collaboration with UAH Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Soprano Phyllis Lewis-Hale and pianist Karen Laubengayer perform Afro-Creole songs and Negro spirituals, as we explore together the historical and cultural differences between these two uniquely American musical genres.
