Learn how to record your family data using proper citations to prove and confirm your family history. Develop research skills using a variety of sources including the federal and state census, court house data, land, military and immigration records. Getting an account with one of these online sites, FamilySearch.org (Free), Ancestry.com ($) or MyHeritage.com ($), is necessary. Bringing a laptop or iPad is recommended for classwork.
