COPT leader Jason Gronczniak graduates from UAH Leadership Accelerator Academy

Eighteen leaders graduated from the inaugural cohort of The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Leadership Accelerator Academy on Tuesday, May 7. The event was hosted by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education (OPCE) at UAH, a part of The University of Alabama System.

Among these graduates was Jason Gronczniak, a building technician with Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). As a vital member of the COPT team, Gronczniak enhances the COPT reputation by ensuring the seamless operation of mission-critical facilities through meticulous maintenance and attention to detail.

After being recognized as an emerging leader within the organization, Gronczniak says he was grateful for the opportunity to participate in leadership training to hone his skills. 

“I was transitioning into a leadership role for the first time in my career and wanted to establish a good foundation to build from,” he says. “The Accelerator Academy was recommended by coworkers involved in local leadership organizations.”

The UAH Leadership Accelerator Academy is a 10-month program designed to equip leaders with essential skills to reach their full leadership potential. Each month, cohort members meet to attend courses on various topics led by subject-matter experts.

“I gained valuable knowledge and insight from the various courses offered throughout the program, which will help me advance and grow in my career as well as personally,” Gronczniak says.
