Biography

Stephen Tyler Davis, a seasoned professional in the performance arts, brings a wealth of experience and a captivating presence to the realm of public speaking and leadership. He earned a B.A. in theatre from The University of Alabama. He graduated with honors for serving as the President of Alpha Psi Omega, Gamma Gamma Cast, showcasing early signs of his exceptional leadership abilities.

He earned an M.F.A. in theatre from Sarah Lawrence College, while serving as the President of the Graduate Student Senate. Davis has become a prominent figure as a guest artist, captivating audiences nationwide at universities, state festivals, regional theaters, the New York Musical Theatre Festival and the New York International Fringe Festival.

A true advocate for community connection and inspiring joy through theatre and music, Davis wears many hats as a director, teacher, writer, performer, producer and designer. He is the author of plays, poetry, and original musicals, such as Huckleberry Haywood, Bird Brain, Little Trees, Rusty the Robot, Stargazing With Helen Keller, Lights Out in Cootah County, Snow and the 7 Littles and an original adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

He has toured the United States for three seasons with TheatreWorks USA and co-founded CitySalt Theatricals NYC. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he is an ordained minister, ASCAP songwriter and a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.

In addition, Davis serves as a guest lecturer at Shelton State Community College and Alabama A&M University, leaving an indelible mark on aspiring talents. Recently recognized for his outstanding contributions, Stephen Tyler Davis was named to Huntsville Business's 40 Under 40, a testament to his impactful work in the community. His public speaking and leadership abilities continue to shape and inspire both the artistic and local spheres, making him a dynamic force in the world of performance arts.
