Biography

Dr. Kendall received her A.A. in Biology from Pellissippi State Technical Community College in 2007. She earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Dr. Kendall was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kentucky (2013-2014). She was the Merit Program Director (2016-2017) and laboratory coordinator (2014-2017) for the School of Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana prior to arriving at UAH (2017). Dr. Kendall teaches courses for the UAH Department of Biological Sciences and UAH/Huntsville City Schools College Academy. Dr. Kendall's research is focused on formal and informal STEM education, ecology, evolution, and conservation biology.
