Participation Steps Every project must use the official paperwork and follow the NARSEF Rules and Guidelines established by NARSEF staff and ISEF-affiliated fairs. All Forms are uploaded through a STEM Wizard Account. Complete a science fair project. Compete at your school fair and be selected to attend NARSEF. (If your school does not host a fair, please get in touch with narsef@uah.edu about attending NARSEF via NARSEF Direct) Register your selected project with NARSEF using STEM Wizard. September 29, 2025 – Student Registration Opens. February 13, 2026 – Deadline to submit all projects, paperwork, and abstract. Pay associated fees. $30 per student due February 20, 2026 $60 late fee per project due March 4, 2026 Student Registration Once the teachers from a school are registered, your students may register on STEM Wizard beginning on September 29, 2025. Note: all students competing at NARSEF must be entered in STEM Wizard to be eligible to compete. The deadline to submit all forms and complete all milestones, besides payment, required for each project is February 13, 2026. Payment of $30 per participant is due February 20, 2026*. *If payment has not been made by this date, a late fee of $60 will be required for each project by March 4, 2026 in order to participate.
